The artist, Rose  resides in Macon, Georgia.  She has three children and three grandchildren,    she also has a brother and sister-in-law and a nephew in Florida.  She spends her spare time enjoying  activities with her friends and family.  Rose began drawing and writing as a child.    Her closest friends call her Roz. She took various classes in the arts after school, starting in elementary school.  Creating and designing has been a natural talent.  She was born a dreamer and has written and painted her dreams.  She loves roses and thinks they are the unparalleled perfection of beauty.  The rose photo above taken on Coleman Hill by Rosalyn displays this exquisite theme.

She painted her first acrylic on canvas in college while studying a course titled, "Theology and the Arts", at the University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida.  Rose is a Florida Gator.  The painting was a self-portrait.  She was  sitting on the back porch in a rocking chair at her home in Windermere, Florida reading the Bible.  The painting depicted a visitation of the Lord during which Rose was converted to Christianity.  She became a Christian when she was a student at the University of Florida while reading the New Testament the summer between her freshman and sophomore year.  Rose grew up in Georgia, Alabama and Florida.

My step mom took this picture of me sitting on the back porch of our home in Windermere overlooking Wauseon Bay on the Lake butler Chain in Florida.  She took it through the sliding glass doors from inside the den.  I was a teenager in high school about 18, when this photo was taken.  I loved to sit on the screened in back porch and look at the lake and watch the rain that would come across the lake every afternoon, this was such a gorgeous view to see every day.  I was so blessed to live on this lake, this is where I first met the Lord Jesus, sitting in this rocking chair reading the Bible when I was 19.  I was baptized in the lake out back.  What a glorious day!  This photo was taken through a glass, it is dark, now we see the Lord as if through a glass darkly, soon we shall see Him face to face.    This is where I first met the Lord, He came in to my life like a river of living waters, flooding my soul with glorious, peace, love and joy.  God is still working on me today creating light within every corner of my life.  He is not finished with me yet.  Thank the Lord, I am one of His Masterpieces in progress.

It was after the birth of her third child that she united more closely with the Lord and began painting and designing with the Lord as her teacher.  During the childbirth, which was a c-section, she was knocked out with anesthesia, after having a spinal injection, that didn't work.  The surgeon started cutting on her stomach and she could feel the pain and started screaming.  After the cup was placed on her nose filled with anesthesia, Rose visited heaven in a dream and it was at this time that she united with her Savior as the Divine Designer.  In the dream, Rose was in the mountains with the Lord.  She was in the Spirit, out of the body and surrounded by the glorious unseen Presence of the Spirit of God.  She was enveloped with the love, joy and peace of the Lord.  In the mountains, she saw animals, birds, a deer and a log cabin.  She experienced the entrance to heaven, she did not ever all the way.  The doctor woke her up in the recovery room and she knew she had to come back and take care of her baby.   She has not forgotten her visit with the Lord's Spirit and is no longer afraid to die.  She has had a taste of the glories of heaven.  She paints, writes and designs through the mind of Christ as He grants her divine vision and inspiration.

Rosalyn has produced art work in various mediums from pine cone and floral designs, to hand-painted t-shirts, ceramics,  country craft items in wood and fabric, and  canvas paintings.   She has also  published and designed business cards, flyers, advertisements, logos and  magazine articles.   Rose opened her own business  which she named Garlands of Grace about seventeen years ago.   She operated the business from her home.    Ten years ago she changed the business name to Creation Enterprises.  She wrote poetry and songs during this time as well as puppet musical scripts for children.   Some of her songs and poetry have been produced and published.  She has been interested  in photography since she was a child.  She loves to travel and take photographs of the journey.  She  took a trip to Pine Mountain, Georgia with her grand daughter and the website presently displays photos that Rose and Taylor took on the trip.  They delighted in the serenity and majesty of the mountain garden splendor at Callaway and the surrounding area.  Taylor and her grandmother Mimi have taken lots of trips together over the years, they went to Savannah, GA and Hilton Head, South Carolina among many other local trips that were joined by Madalyn her sister.

"God is Love!" 1 John 4:8

"Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.  Love never fails."

 1 Cor.13:4-8
